The following is a list of events which take place throughout the year:
Squash Club Night is held on Fridays at 6:20. Courts are booked for 2 hours for any squash member who wants to turn up and play. Come along if you can make it. All abilities invited. It will be a great chance for playing lots of different opponents. Optional BYOB in clubhouse afterwards. See the contacts page. **
Squash Mini-League – Mixed league. This is updated approximately every 6-8 weeks throughout the year. See the Squash page for details of what’s involved & how to join. The mini-league is open to all squash members. See the calendar below for projected mini-league update dates.
Squash Coaching – this is available to members & non-members. Block start dates are listed below. To contact the squash coach, Lisa, see the contacts page.
Tennis BoxLeagues Mixed singles & doubles Boxleagues. These are updated approximately every 6-8 weeks throughout the year. See the Tennis-BoxLeague page for details of what’s involved & how to join. The BoxLeagues are open to all tennis members. See the calendar below for projected BoxLeague update dates.
Tennis Mixed abilities “Turn Up and Play” – every Wednesday (provided there’s no home match, April to June) from 6pm to 7:30pm & Saturday from 11am to 12:30pm. An occasional fee of £1 covers the cost of new tennis balls. For more information see the contacts page.
Tennis, Social – first Friday of the month from 5:30pm to 7pm on courts 1, 2 & 3. Optional gathering in the club house after (BYOB/nibbles). Arrange games yourselves using your own tennis balls. **
Tennis, East of Scotland Ladies Team: If you would you like to play for Dean Ladies’ in the East of Scotland league then we would love to hear from you. Matches run from April until June, usually on Thursday evenings. It’s a great way to play competitive tennis, represent your club and get to know other members. You do not need to be available for every match. We also play on Monday evenings at Dean throughout the year from 6pm until 7.30pm. All lady members welcome. Tennis Courts Maintenance -every second Tuesday afternoon commencing 3 September and ending 29 October
Pilates – pilates classes take place throughout the year in the function room on Mondays at 9:15am, Tuesdays at 6:00pm & Thursdays at 6:30pm. For more information, see the Pilates page. **
** If using the function room, please take home items for recycling & help tidy up. Last one out, close the windows & switch off the lights.
